Motorsport Beyond the Track.

Reportage-style photography for racing culture, historic cars, paddock atmosphere and automotive heritage — created with a restrained editorial eye and a sense for discreet luxury.

Speed, silence and ritual.

Simone Slawitz is an Italian editorial photographer working across motorsport, heritage racing, historic cars and automotive events. His work focuses on the human dimension around racing: the waiting, gestures, surfaces, light, preparation and atmosphere that define the world beyond the track.

The approach is not purely sport photography and not simply car photography. It is a form of visual reportage shaped by motorsport culture, classic automotive history and a precise, restrained aesthetic.

This makes the work suited to editorial assignments, automotive brands, racing events, collectors, luxury hospitality, watchmaking contexts and heritage-driven visual storytelling in Italy and across Europe.

From endurance racing to historic cars.

The portfolio moves between contemporary motorsport and classic automotive culture: endurance racing, paddock reportage, historic racing, Mille Miglia atmosphere, Monaco Historique references and Italian automotive heritage. The same visual method also extends to luxury events, watches and brand stories where the subject is not only the object, but the culture surrounding it.
